Anne-Marie Duff is an English actor and narrator. Duff, who graduated from Drama Centre London in 1990, made her first television appearances with Trial & Retribution Amongst Women and Aristocrats. Anne-Marie Duff is a Britsih actress born on the 8th of October 1970, in Chiswick, London, United Kingdom. Anne-Marie Duff (8 October 1970) was an English stage-and-screen actress. She gained fame as Fiona Gallagher, the lead character in UK television's Shameless in its initial two seasons. The Virgin Queen (2006) was her subsequent role. Also, she played the role of Queen Elizabeth I as well as the lead character on From Darkness, a television series that aired in 2015. Duff is known for her role on the television series Enigma (2002) The Magdalene Sisters French Film (2008) The Last Station Nowhere Boy Before I Go to Sleep (2014), and Suffragette. She also appeared in the films The Virgin Queen Shameless Nowhere Boy Suffragette Shameless as well as the Virgin Queen earned her BAFTA nominations for Best Actresses as well as Best Supporting actresses. The History of Mr Polly is the film for which she was awarded her BAFTA Cymru Award as Best Actress. Anne-Marie Duff has been a popular award-winning English Actress who made her mark on the stages, on radio and in television. She achieved mainstream fame as Fiona Gallagher from the British comedy drama Shameless. Anne Marie has developed into an accomplished theatre actor after more than a decade of stage performances including working for The Royal National Theatre.
